"We're Alive" pulp cover FINISHED

I was finally able to finish this painting. It has been a great learning experience since I struggled a lot with the mediums and some of the texture of the paint. I have to thank again my good friend Ashley for helping me with the reference I needed for this painting. This is my version of Riley from the Zombie Podcast story "We're Alive." Check it out if you haven't done so yet!! Click here.

 Finished painting with title.

 Just the painting!

Contests

This is a caricature I did for a contest of Danny Trejo. This is a traditional illustration with a touch of photoshop. The lighter flame needed some help and I really wanted to emphasize it a bit more.

This other illustration is about one of the fitness activities that my school offers and one of my favorite sports. It is a shame that the metallic texture of the ink does not show up but I still like it.

We're alive pulp cover!!!! (WIP)

This is an illustration with the idea of working as a pulp magazine cover. I had the idea of doing it inspired by the amazing work of the cast and crew that have created the Zombie Podcast- We're alive a story of survival. I picked Riley as the one character I wanted to illustrate. I also focused a little bit on the part where she faces a behemoth in the arena. This is just my version of how I see Riley in my head whenever I listen to the podcast. My good friend and great model Ashely helped me with the reference. This will eventually be an oil painting.

Digital painting

This is second illustration I have fully finished using Photoshop. It is still a big mystery to me but it is great to learn little by little about painting digitally.
