This is a painting I worked on to get used to using more textures. The concept for it came from an idea of finding animals who could be the most adept at human activities.

A small selection of quick and long poses ranging from 5 to 20 minutes long. I like to keep the quick ones in newspaper pads and the longer poses in brown paper since it gives me the chance to work on shadows and highlights.
